Rahamathullah threatened they won't be responsible if any judge or judges were killed or badly injured if they give unfavourable verdict over hijab row on a public platform.

Delhi based Supreme Court advocate B Ramaswamy filed a police complaint against Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath (TNTJ) audit committee member Kovai Rahmathullah for threatening to kill SC judges. In his complaint, the advocate said that he was shocked to hear and watch the clippings, which are being widely circulated on social media. He said an unknown youth (Rahamathullah) is challenging the hon. High court and hon. Supreme court judges for the consequences of the hijab judgments and hijab related cases in a public meeting.

"He wants public and youth of Tamil Nadu to be ready for any means of killing and murdering and other consequences, etc. He also quotes an incident of a judge's death in Bihar when he was on a morning walk and the goondas killed him and made it look like a accident. By citing this, Rahamathullah provokes and gives an idea to kill, murder and do any means of activities to kill the judges," said the lawyer.

The advocate said the speaker also calls upon the youth, saying, "We must be ready to face any consequences to go to jail or anywhere".

Rahamathullah also mobilized the masses in the form of emotional appeal on a public platform for criminal activities. The speaker also said he was proud to go to jail for the Hijab, raised slogans, and made the public get the motivation to do violent and communal activities.

The SC lawyer said, "If such act goes on in Tamil Nadu unchecked, this will create a bad trend and large innocent youth will be used in murder, other criminal activities and intimidation. The advocate has requested the police to file FIR and arrest Rahamathullah."

Another Coimbatore advocate, K Vijayakumar, in his complaint, said Rahamathullah spoke ill against judges of Karnataka High Court in a TNTJ public meeting held by Madurai Goripalayam on 17 March,

Rahamathullah said, "They will not be responsible in the event of any judge or judges were killed or badly injured if they give any verdict against Hijab use. They should keep this in mind and conduct themselves without getting killed by accident or murder."

The advocate has urged the police to arrest him under NSA and take steps to ban the outfit.

In the meeting, women shouted that they would not be afraid of Modi, Yogi, and Amit Shah as well death and only fear for Allah. "Stop your action. Our patience and attitude may change any time. We are emotive type. Don't try to give any verdict against our faiths and hijab use", included in their slogans.

In Chennai, on 15 March, New College students (run by Muslim trust) protested against the Hijab verdict. Police allowed a group of Muslims in Chennai to hold protests in front of a temple. Will they allow Hindus to protest in front of a mosque or a Church?" questioned an anonymous youth.

BJP spokesperson Narayanan Tirupathi has demanded a ban on TNTJ and the arrest of people who organized the meeting and Rahamathullah, who is spreading terror activities in the state.

Tirunelveli police arrested VHP functionary Karthik, who is active against love jihad, for a post on social media based on a complaint by Muslim Jamaat. "It is a simple non offensive and non- hate post. But he was arrested. Is freedom of expression only for Muslims and not for Hindus?" asks Arumuga Kani, VHP state media cell president.

Police booked Rahamathullah in 2015 for a speech that was allegedly prejudicial to the maintenance of public harmony and disobeyed police proceedings.
