Trends show BJP’s vote share fairly high in Goa, Manipur, UP and Uttarakhand

New Delhi: As per the trends available in Goa for all 40 seats, the BJP has established its lead in 19, just two short of the magic majority mark. The vote share for BJP currently stands at 33.6 per cent. 

According to Election Commission data analysis, the BJP's vote share at around 1100 hours stood at 37.74 per cent, and the party is leading in 19 assembly segments. The Congress vote share stood at around 18 per cent.

Out of 41 seats, NPP is leading in nine, and Congress in only three, while Janata Dal (United) is leading in three and NPF in four, newly floated Kuki People's Alliance, which put up only two candidates, is leading in one.

In Uttar Pradesh, according to trends for 383 seats, the BJP is leading in 241, having already crossed the halfway mark. The BJP vote share in Uttar Pradesh stood at 42.3 per cent. Samajwadi Party, leading in 107 seats, gained a vote share of 31 per cent.

In Uttarakhand, the saffron party is way ahead, with 44 seats lead and gained 44 per cent of votes.
