Aligarh: Dharma Samaj College in Aligarh has issued a notice prohibiting students from entering without wearing the required uniform.
According to the principal, the administration has issued a notice in this regard due to college discipline that saffron scarves will also not be permitted inside the college.
On Thursday, February 17, Dharma Samaj (DS) College issued a notice prohibiting students from entering without wearing the required uniform.
"This is to remind all college students that they must dress according to the college's dress code. If they do not wear the required attire, the college administration will be forced to refuse them admission. As a result, strict adherence to the preceding should be ensured," according to the notice.

The administration will not allow students to enter the campus with their faces covered, according to Dr Raj Kumar Verma, the college's principal.
The Hijab controversy started in Karnataka in January, when some students at the Government Girls PU College in the state's Udupi district claimed they were barred from attending classes. Some students claimed they were denied admission to the college because they wore hijab during the protests.
