A coalition led by Saudi Arabia is fighting the Houthi terrorists, who are backed by Iran, in Yemen for the last seven years. The coalition is backed by Egypt, Kuwait, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Mumbai-based propagandist, who masquerades as a liberal and journalist, Saturday (January 22) called Saudis ‘bloodthirsty’ for waging war against terror in Yemen.

In a Twitter post, she wrote “Yemen is bleeding and there is nobody to stop the bloodthirsty Saudis. These are people who call themselves custodians of Islam. As a Muslim I am ashamed that these savages are the guardians of the holy mosque. The world CANNOT stay silent thru genocide #YemenUnderAttack.”

Twitter user from Jeddah, Gassan, posted “Fake news. U mean as a muslim brotherhood. Whoever. Saudi Arabia has launched military operations in Yemen, as part of a coalition of over ten countries in response to a direct request from the legitimate government of Yemen. We supporting legitimate and U supporting terrorists.”

Commentator Hassan Sajwani from UAE called Rana Ayyub a terror apologist who supports terrorists under the smokescreen of ‘Humanitarian Voice’. He posted “The likes of Rana Ayyub are the biggest culprits. Under the smokescreen of “Humanitarian Voice” they constantly back Houthis, Hamas, and Muslim Brotherhood aligned groups. Ms. Rana forgot that Houthis killed 2 innocent Indians (her countrymen) last week in Abu Dhabi. Shame!”

In another post, Sajwani said “She ignores the atrocities and war crimes committed by the Houthis but calls Saudis “bloodthirsty”. These white label Islamists are even more dangerous than the terrorists themselves! Shame!”

Last week, two Indians were killed when Houthi terrorists attacked the Abu Dhabi airport. In the ongoing fight in Yemen, Houthi terrorists are backed by Iran, an arch-rival of Saudi Arabia in the region.

After the government of President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi was ousted in an armed rebellion by Houthis in January 2015, he has been living in exile in Saudi Arabia. On his request, Saudi Coalition is heling the Yemen government.

The Saudi coalition intensified the airstrike in Yemen last week after Houthis claimed the drone attack on the Abu Dhabi airport which killed seven people, including two Indians.

Saudis and Emiratis reminded how she has been collecting funds for humanitarian work but using it for her personal work. Netizen from Jeddah Faisal posted “Personally, I’m ashamed of people who gather donations for worthy causes and then fail to utilize those funds for the purpose for which they were raised. But that’s just me.”

Propagandist Rana Ayyub is also a supporter of Tablighi Jamaat, which is banned in Saudi Arabia. About a moth back, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had asked all Imams to preach about the dangers the Tablighi Jamaat poses to the society. It had explicitly mentioned that any association with the Tablighi Jamaat is prohibited in the Kingdom.

In a notification, Saudi Arabia had explicitly mentioned that association with the Tablighi Jamaat opens “the gates of terrorism”. Nouf Almarwaai, Twitter user from Saudi Arabia, posted “She supports Tablighi Jamaat & MB terrorism so no wonders ..our war against Houthi terrorism hurts her."
