RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat releases Shri Ranga Hari’s ‘Bhishma in Vyas Bharat’

Former Chief Justice of West Bengal, Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan received the first copy of the book from the Sarsanghchalak. Published by Kurukshetra Prakashan, the present volume is somewhat sequel to the four books published earlier: Krishna in Vyas Bharat, Karna in Vyas Bharat, Droupadi in Vyas Bharat, and  Narada in Vyas Bharat.

 

Kochi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat has released the latest book of Shri Ranga Hari. The book, written in Malayalam, has been titled ‘Vyasa Bharatathile Bhishmar’ (Bhishma in Vyas Bharat). 

The book launch was held at Madhav Nivas, Kochi, today. Former Chief Justice of West Bengal, Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan received the first copy of the book from the Sarsanghchalak. Published by Kurukshetra Prakashan, the present volume is somewhat sequel to the four books published earlier: Krishna in Vyas Bharat, Karna in Vyas Bharat, Droupadi in Vyas Bharat, and  Narada in Vyas Bharat. Renowned Malayalam poet Prof V Madhusoodhanan Nair has written the introduction to the book.

Born to Ranga Shenoy and Padmavathy in the year 1930, Shri R Hari came in contact with RSS in 1944 and became a Pracharak in 1951, after graduating in B.A. (Economics) from the Maharajas College, Ernakulam.

During the Emergency, Ranga Hari toured entire south India in disguise organising meetings, arranging printing and distribution of pamphlets and meeting prominent people to fight the national menace. 

He became the Prant Pracharak of RSS in Kerala in the year 1982. Later, in 1990, he became the Akhila Bharatiya Bhoudhik Pramukh of the Sangh. He continued to be the Akhil Bharatiya Boudhik Pramukh for the next 15 years.

Well-versed in ten languages- Malayalam, Tamil, Sanskrit, Konkani, Marathi, Hindi, English, Bengali, Gujarathi and Assamese- Shri R Hari has written dozens of books in different languages.  He edited the complete works of Poojaneeya Guruji titled “Guruji Samagra”, which came out in 12 Volumes.
