BJP MLA Mangal Prabhat Lodha Exposes Anti Hindu Bias Of MVA In Assembly; Demands Ban On Raza Academy and Namaz On Roads

MLA Lodha said India would only be safe if Hindu culture is conserved and demanded the protection of the traditional Hindu trades and professions.  

Mumbai BJP president Mangal Prabhat Lodha has demanded an immediate ban on Raza Academy, the main accused in the recent Maharashtra riots. He also demanded the implementation of a ban on namaz offered on roads and public places while addressing the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha winter session.

Lodha cautioned the house that Maharashtra might go the way of the Kashmir and Pashchim Vang if Hindu culture is not protected and said India would only be safe if Hindu culture is conserved. 

During his short but fiery speech, Lodha was often obstructed by the MLAs and ministers of the ruling MVA alliance. He reminded them all that "Jo Hindu Hit Ki Baat Karega, Wohi Desh Par Raj Karega." Gone are the days of appeasement politics, he quipped. 

He questioned the government for allowing namaz on roads in large numbers when it is restricting Hindu festivals and the number of visitors in the temples.

Mangal Prabhat Lodha also demanded a ban on Raza Academy, which created riots against Hindus in the state on various occasions. But, the ruling MVA is planning to ban some Hindu organisations engaged in service or spiritual activities like Sanatan Sanstha.

He drew the attention of the house to the fact that the Vidhan Sabha has some MLAs who were actually engaged in the campaigns to save the terrorists like Kasab and Yakub by writing letters and mercy petitions to the President of India. Lodha demanded that the MLAs who supported the mercy petitions of the terrorists must be thrown out of the house before banning any Hindu organisation. 

Mangal Prabhat Lodha also drew the attention of the house to the fact that the 16 most prominent traditional professions and trades of the local Hindus, like fisheries and Fish Markets, are now controlled by a particular (minority) religious community. He also demanded the protection of the traditional Hindu trades and professions.
