Ruhul Amin changed his name to Shankar Sarma and trapped a Hindu girl, Kabita Baishya, with his new name. After some time, he forced her to convert to Islam and started blackmailing her with some objectionable pictures.

Guwahati: The ill fate of the dangerous trap of Love Jihad. A love jihadi killed one more Hindu girl in Assam. One Ruhul Amin of Maranjan area in Rangia changed his name to Shankar Sarma. This crook love jihadi trapped a Hindu girl, Kabita Baishya, with his new name as Shankar Sarma. Both got to know each other through Facebook a few months ago. They exchanged phone numbers and came close over time. Love jihadi Ruhul and Kabita fall in love, and they spent some good time without knowing the real identity of Shankar Sarma, alias Ruhul Amin.

The love jihadi Ruhul took her to various places and clicked some objectional photographs. Later one he disclosed his real identity and started torturing the poor girl. He forced her to convert to Islam and started blackmailing her. He threatened to make those pictures public if she didn't fulfil his demands and convert to Islam. Devastated with the pain of a fraudulent love affair and blackmail by a Muslim man, the girl committed suicide last week. Her family registered a case in Rangia police station after her mysterious death. They accused that Kabita was killed by love jihadi Ruhul Amin alias Shankar Sarma. But the police were not taking any proactive action.

Bajrang Dal on Sunday staged a protest in front of the Rangia police station demanding the arrest of the culprit, love jihadi Ruhul Amin, within 24 hours. Bajrang Dal district secretary Sunil Lahkar told 'Organiser' that the culprit should be brought to justice immediately. The police should set an example so that no other Ruhul Amin can dare kill another Hindu girl. The deceased girl's family accused that there was marks of wounds on her body. So it was a murder, not suicide. Bajrang Dal said if the police can't arrest the love jihadi within the time of 24 hours, a series of protests will be launched in the Kamrup district. They also demand that the state government should bring a strict law against increasing love jihad incidents in the state of Assam.
