In yet another attempt by SDPI goons to trigger political violence in Kerala, a BJP office in Kannu's Talassery was targeted by the Islamist force. Due the proper intervention by the Police and people of the area, the attempt to attack BJP party office was foiled. SDPI was carrying out a rally where provocative slogans were raised against the BJP leaders. The SDPI rally happened inspite of being given a notice under CRPC 149 by the administration.
Responding to the incident, the local BJP leadership has said that SDPI goons were shocked to see the people's participation in the recent K.T Jayakrishnan master memorial program. They also expressed their reservation against a video of provocative slogans being raised by BJP workers, adding that probably the video is fake.
