Narcotic Jihad in Kerala: Ahmad, Shamzad and Aneesha arrested, cannabis seized in large quantity

A large quantity of Cannabis was serized from Calicut. The police have arrested Ahmad Nihal, Shamzad and Aneesha in this case. These drug peddlers were transporting cannabis in a car and were caught near Medical college.

Kerala has witnessed a sudden surge in drug-related cases in recent times.

One Fahad and his companion arrested for processing 2 Kg of cannabis

Fahad and his companion were arrested by the police for keeping 2 kg of cannabis in Kerala. The locals had been complaining about the growing narcotics trade near the Calicut Medical College. They also said that most of the people who came to purchase drugs were of younger age.

There had been a huge controversy in Kerala after a Christian bishop asked his people to be careful about ‘Narcotic Jihad’, a systematic plan to ruin the lives of non-Muslims. Now the drug peddlers have also started to take non-Muslims as their drug carriers to evade the Muslim angle to the narcotic trade.
