Social activist Anshul Saxena has been consistently raising his voice against the exploitation of children by the missionaries.

Mohali Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan has ordered an inquiry into the exploitation of children for missionary activities.

Earlier, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has taken up the matter on the complaint of social activist Anshul Saxena.

"Now, Mohali deputy commissioner Girish Dayalan has ordered inquiry into superstitious activities being performed among children by Pastor Bajinder Singh. Thank you @KanoongoPriyank, @NCPCR_. Missionary using minor children in their activities must be investigated. Humara issue.", posted Anshul Saxena on Twitter.

Earlier, as reported by the Organiser, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had issued a notice to the deputy commissioner in Chandigarh to investigate a video of Pastor Baljinder Singh in which a child had been used to spread propaganda.

Pastor Baljinder Singh was propagating the message that he cured the specially-abled sister of the child. He claimed earlier the specially abled girl could not speak, but after his magic, she was able to speak.

Christian missionaries use such videos for conversion activity and propaganda.

"Dear @NCPCR_, @KanoongoPriyank , Kindly investigate this case. Missionary is using a minor boy. He's crying. Pastor Baljinder Singh is involved. The body language of both the pastor and the child seem unusual. Look into this" social media activist Anshul Saxena posted on Twitter with the video of the pastor Baljinder Singh.

The NCPCR issued the notice on Sunday (August 29).

In another post, Saxena wrote, "Thanks to @KanoongoPriyank, @NCPCR_ for taking the required action against Pastor Baljinder Singh for using a minor boy for missonary's conversion activity."

The Indian laws prohibit the use of children in any propaganda video.
