Seva Bharati, along with Keshav Seva Samiti, handed over ten new houses it built for the victims of Bhainsa violence. A mass griha pravesh was conducted on September 1, 2021, during which Akhila Bharatiya Seva Pramukh, Parag Abhayankar, handed over the new houses, which were built at the cost of one crore.
Speaking on occasion, Parag Abhayankar stressed the urgent need for unity among Hindus. The Hindu society must inculcate self-confidence and mutual generosity. He explained various social service activities and projects undertaken by Seva Bharati and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Member of Parliament of Adilabad, Soyam Babu Rao, participated in the program and condemned the ruthless attacks on the Bhainsa Hindus. He promised to stand by the Hindus in their hour of need. Sanghchalak of RSS Telangana, Burla Dakshina Murthy, observed that Seva Bharati’s initiative in building new houses was very reassuring.
Hooligans launched an unprovoked and premeditated attack on Hindus at Bhainsa in January 2020. The mob burnt the houses, destroyed all the household belongings of the Hindus living in that area. Twelve houses were partially burnt, while ten houses were turned into ashes along with many vehicles.
Seva Bharati swiftly came to the rescue of the victims, along with many philanthropists, and provided immediate help like food grains, assurance, and daily needs to the members of the 22 families. After providing immediate assistance, Seva Bharati volunteers decided to construct ten new houses for the victims and undertook the project with the cooperation of Telangana state Seva Bharati and Keshav Seva Samiti, Bhagyanagar. Most of the beneficiaries were a meat seller, a small shopkeeper, a simple clerk, a widow, and two farmers.
