Former MP Ninong Ering urged the Govt to take immediate actions.

Itanagar: Former Congress MP from Arunachal Pradesh Ninong Ering has expressed serious concerns over claims that China is trying to recruit youth from border areas of Arunachal Pradesh for the People's Liberation Army (PLA). In a video message posted on his Twitter handle, the Pasighat MLA Ering said, “The news was published on social media platforms and newspapers a few days back. After the befitting reply in Galwan by Indian Army, the PLA is searching for new ways, which is a matter of concern.

The Government of India should investigate the matter immediately and take appropriate actions." He further stated that the language of the Lova community living in the borders of China and Nishi, Aadi etc., community living in the border areas of India, have some similarities. But that doesn't mean that our youth and citizens will join PLA. They don't want to.

The former MP said, China has built houses in the Misa area of the border, they have built roads in Geiling and Anini areas, but that doesn't mean that all these will influence our people. He also said the Chinese are trying to lure the youth of bordering areas of Arunachal Pradesh, which is not good. Ering said Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India, and it will remain so.
