As the country enters its 75th year of Independence, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has decided to hoist the national flag at 647 places in the national capital to evoke the “feelings of nationalism” among the general public.
“These places will mainly include villages and colonies. In this mega drive, efforts will be made to spread the feelings of nationalism in the whole of Delhi and to connect the general public with the occasion”, ABVP said.
The ABVP will also hoist the national flag in 3500 villages of Jammu-Kashmir.
