In a shocking incident, a teacher named Brinda was heard mocking Hindu gods at an online class for 9th standard students of Cotton hill school in Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala). The teacher also said that only Christ existed in reality. Brinda questioned the existence of Hindu gods and told that she has all the evidence to say that Christ existed. Parents, who came to know about her class complained to the PTA management of the school.

Parents also complained that the teacher was trying to eliminate the concept of Hindu gods from the minds of children. They also pointed out that the same school had published a souvenir before few years containing cartoons that insulted Hindu Gods. After the protest by Hindu organizations, the school management was forced to withdraw the souvenir.

There is also an allegation that the PTA of Cotton Hill school is hijacked by the CPM activists and they silently support Hindu bashing in the school.
