Two Al Qaeda Terrorists Arrested by UP ATS in Lucknow, Major Terror Attack Foiled

The Anti Terror Squad of the Uttar Pradesh Police got intelligence input that Al Qaeda terrorists are hiding in Kakori in Lucknow. They were planning major terror attacks.

 

The UP Anti Terror Squad (ATS) arrested two Al Qaeda terrorists in Lucknow's Kakori on Sunday (July 11).

 

ATS recovered a vast amount of explosive material from them. The ATS had received information that the arrested terrorists were planning to carry out some major terror attacks in the state.

 

The arrested terrorists were also in touch with people from across the border.

 

According to police sources, the ATS started a search operation based on information of two terrorists in Faridipur, Kakori. They were present at the Kakori's Dubagga area.

 

ATS commandos and bomb disposal squad are currently carrying out more search operations.
