The thane court has granted bail to 14 accused in the mob lynching case of two sadhus.
Thane district court has granted bail to 14, who are accused of involving in the mob lynching of two sadhus in Palghar on April 16, 2020.
Although 14 of the defendants have been granted bail, the court has denied bail to 18 others who are accused of being involved in the crime.
Satish Manshinde is acting as the public prosecutor for all the accused in the mob lynching case.
The two sadhus of Juna Akhara, namely Chikne Maharaj Kalpavrukshagiri and Sushilgiri Maharaj, along with their driver, were brutally attacked by a mob with sticks and axes. They brutally killed all three in the presence of the Maharashtra Police, who acted as spectators, instead of saving the innocent sadhus from the mob.
