Hindu Ecosystem, a volunteer-led group, founded by BJP leader Kapil Mishra, was started in November last year.
Volunteer group Hindu Ecosystem has given a call to volunteers to clean the temples in their area on Sunday (July 4).
Hindu Ecosystem convener and BJP leader Kapil Mishra requested the volunteers to devote one hour to cleaning the temples in their area on coming Sunday (July 4).
He wrote on social media platform Twitter “?????? ??? ?????? ????? ???????? ?????? ?????? 4 ????? #HinduEcosystem Temple Cleaning Campaign – Sunday 4th July Pls visit your local temple and do cleaning and Sewa #CleanTempleCleanNation”.
Hindu Ecosystem has been requesting the volunteers to take up cleaning work once a month in nearby temples. It started in April this year.
In a video message before launching the cleaning drive in April, Mishra had said “The first ground action taken up by Hindu Ecosystem is cleaning of temples under which members of Hindu Ecosystem will go to a nearby temple on the first Sunday of every month and provide service to clean the temples and do Seva. It will be mandatory for every volunteer of the Hindu Ecosystem.”
He added, the Hindu Ecosystem did many activities virtually and spreads the message through different social media platforms.
In the first drive on April 4, many volunteers had taken up the cleaning work and posted pictures of the seva on social media platforms to spread awareness.
