Seva Bharati extends aid to needy people in Manipur

 

As the second wave of Coronavirus wreaked havoc on human society and across the globe, RSS swayamsevaks have been at the forefront of the fight against the deadly pandemic, providing daily necessities and basic medical care to covid positive patients in Manipur.

 

Seva Bharati, Manipur, has been giving over 2000 lunch kits daily since May 25, 2021, in collaboration with the Bazar community, Jain Samaj, and Mawaradi Samaj of Imphal.

 

The lunch packages were provided to 27 locations of Manipur including, isolation centers at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal; local isolation centers; vaccination centers; orphanage, home, and needy local people in and around Imphal.

 

Seva Bharati has been distributing Ayush 64 tablets to COVID positive patients, Arsenic album (immune booster) to COVID patient caretakers, face masks, face shield, hand gloves, and surgical head cover; handwash and sanitizer bottles; medical kit containing paracetamol, zinc tablets, Vitamin C, mask, and hand sanitizer for local volunteers; grocery items to containment zones; oxygen concentrators digital thermometers and pulse oximeters to COVID positive patients and hospitals in Manipur.

 

In addition, in collaboration with the Central Agricultural University in Imphal, Seva Bharati donated paddy seeds to 500 farmers' families in Manipur, including the Scheduled Castes group.
