The 28-year-old second wife of 65-year-old Maulana Shabbir has accused him of domestic violence and forcing her to ‘please’ other men.
Maulana Shabbir runs a madrasa in Khairabad Mohalla of Sultanpur district in Uttar Pradesh.
The victim said the torture was going on for the last eight years.
She was a teacher in a madrasa in Dehli Bazar area of Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Maulana Shabbir was the principal of the madrasa.
One day, he laced her food with sedatives and recorded her intimate videos. He used the same video to blackmail her.
Finally, he married her eight years back. Maulana was already married and had three sons.
The victim alleged that Khairabad Mohalla madrasa is used to get money and no teaching work happens in the madrasa.
She alleged Maulana Shabbir forces her to ‘please’ other men. When she refused, he would beat her and not give any food to her and her two two daughters who are seven and three years old.
The victim said she had been running from pillar to post for the past two months but no one helped. She pleaded with all the senior district officials including DM and SP but no one helped.
Finally, she landed in the office of local MP Maneka Sanjay Gandhi.
The police have registered a complaint on the intervention of Gandhi’s office.
