In an incident that exposes the liberal lobby’s selective amnesia for Mullas issuing fatwas and death threats, four women were forced to issue an apology for dancing near a Dargah. The dargah is identified as Shahdara Sharief, Rajouri in Jammu.
Netizens reacted sharply to Islamists trying to intimidate these women. A Twitter user said that dancing is allowed as per Sufi tradition. Another used questioned the silence of the Movie-mafia that even uses temple as background in romance scenes.
Following this, Mullas from Kashmir had threatened to file FIRs and issue Fatwas against these for women. Soon, the women who were seen dancing came out with an apology.
