The G7 leaders are expected to call for a fresh WHO-led investigation into the origin of SARS-COV-2 virus which causes Covid-19, according to the leaked communique of the summit.

The three day summit is to start on June 11 in the UK.

All the G7 leaders USA, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan will be participating in the summit hosted by the UK.

The Chinese authorities are stonewalling any attempt to trace the origin of the pandemic.

The WHO-led team had visited CHina in January this year to investigate the origin of the virus but the Chinese authorities did not allow the team access to site and data.

The team returned empty handed and presented its findings to the WHO.

More and more evidence is emerging which is suggesting the virus leaked from the Wuhan institute of Virology in China.

Many researchers across the globe have suggested the virus leak from the lab in Wuhan.

Former US President Donald Trump has been saying since the beginning that it’s a ‘Chinese virus’. Recently, he too demanded an investigation into the origin of the virus and asked world leaders to press China to pay for the damages.
