The Indian Medical Association chief Dr. Johnrose Austin Jayalal Friday said the organisation was ready to withdraw all police complaints and defamation case against Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev if he withdrew his remarks against modern medicine.

Not bowing to threats from the IMA, the Yoga Guru has opened a front against the organisation.

With more news coming in about how Dr. Johnrose Austin Jayalal has been misusing his office for proselytization and FCRA violations of IMA, the organisation now wants a face-saving grace.

The Yoga Guru has already clarified his remarks but is in no mood to back down.

The IMA chief also tried to rope in the government saying the Yoga Guru’s remarks were against the Union government too.

People also expressed anger over where the IMA was when patients were served with exorbitant bills, especially in the pandemic.

It also came to light how IMA was issuing anti-bacterial certification to different products allegedly for huge money.

After clarifying his remarks, Baba Ramdev issued a questionnaire for IMA which has 25 questions in it.

The IMA is yet to respond to these questions.
