Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan Announces Multiple Schemes for Children Whose Parents Have Died Because of Covid-19

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan Thursday announced multiple schemes for children whose parents have died because of Covid-19.

Children whose both parents have died will receive a monthly stipend of INR 5000.

Also, the government will provide free education to such children.

He also said the government would provide free ration for children whose either parent has died.

If the earning parent of the child has succumbed to Covid-19 and the remaining parent wants to start their own business, the government will make arrangements for interest free loan. The Government of Madhya Pradesh will be a guarantor for such loans.

All these steps were taken to provide some relief to the children who have lost their parents to Covid-19.

Chief Minister Chouhan said, “No amount of compensation and help can compensate for the loss of parents. But, his government will make every effort to share their pain.”
