Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Friday disbanded ‘Team11’ formed to manage Covid-19in the state.
In its place, a new ‘Team9’ has been constituted which has been given the responsibility of managing the Covid-19 in the state.
While ‘Team11’ had no ministers in it, ‘Team9’ has 9 committees two of which are led by senior ministers, one by the chief secretary and one by the DGP. The remaining committees are led by the bureaucrats.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tested negative for the Covid-19 virus Friday morning.
The chief minister inspected the Covid hospital set up by the DRDO in Lucknow.
‘Team11’ was facing a lot of flak for poorly managing the Covid-19 situation in the state.
The CM had isolated himself on April 13 after some bureaucrats in his team tested positive for the virus, and on April 14, his report came out positive.
