BJP Booth Agent Dies Inside the Polling Booth in West Bengal

Abhijeet Samanta, a Bharatiya Janata Party booth agent died inside a booth in Kamarhati in West Bengal Saturday.

The voting for the fifth phase is underway in the state.

The Election Commission has asked for a report on the sudden death of the BJP worker inside a booth.

Meanwhile, the brother of the deceased blamed the lack of medical facilities for the death of his brother.

Another BJP worker said he was clueless as nobody was allowed entry inside the booth.

In the fifth phase today, voting for 45 constituencies is underway.

The counting of votes will begin on May 2.
