The 85-year-old BJP worker’s mother, who was brutally assaulted by the alleged Trinamool Congress workers, passed away Sunday.

The old lady was brutally assaulted by the TMC men about a month back in North 24 Parganas.

Her son, Gopal Majumdar, had said the TMC goons barged in his house and brutally assaulted him and his mother.
The photo of the swollen face of Shova Majumdar had gone viral.

The old lady had told the press that she was bedridden and the attackers abused her before physically assaulting her.
She emerged as the face of the brutal regime of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

BJP IT Cell Head Amit Malviya tweeted, “This daughter of Bengal, someone’s mother, someone’s sister… is dead.” Malviya further added, “She was brutally assaulted by TMC cadres but Mamata Banerjee didn’t have a word of compassion for her. Who will heal the wounds of her family? TMC’s politics of violence has bruised Bengal’s soul…”

BJP national secretary and West Bengal Co- InCharge Arvind Menon wrote, “Om Shanti! 85-year-old Shobha Majumdar, who was brutally injured by Trinamuli goons, breathed his last today!
Bengal will never forgive Mamata sister for her torture!”
