The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University has decided to set up a Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Research Centre each in the United States of America, Russia, Spain and Nepal.

The centres will research the Nath Panth and the contribution of Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath.

The university had recently organised a three-day international conference on ‘Global Contribution of Nath Panth’.
The centres will employ research scholars and post-doctoral fellows to dive deep into the Nath Panth.

The university also informed the press about its decision to start degree, diploma and certificate courses about Nath Panth.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is also the head of Shri Gorakhnath Mandir in Gorakhpur, is a disciple of Nath Panth.
