The BJP candidate of Ambalappuzha assembly constituency in Kerala, Anoop Antony, was brutally attacked by the goons of CPIM on Friday evening during his poll campaign. Anoop Antony is also the national secretary of Yuva Morcha. He was attacked at Mullakkal in the Alappuzha district. Anoop is now hospitalized.
BJP Karyakartas staged a protest against the unprovoked attack and the failure of police to give protection to the BJP candidate from CPIM hooligans.
