PFI under scanner: NIA carries out search operation in 10 locations in connection with Islamic State terror module

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is currently carrying out search operations at 10 different locations across the country at the residences and workplaces of people affiliated with the Islamist outfit, the Popular Front of India (PFI). These people were under the surveillance of NIA for their alleged connection with the Islamic State. The raids are taking place in Kerala, Karnataka, Delhi and a couple of other locations.

In Kerala, raids are taking place in Kannur and Malappuram. PFI hooligans are protesting outside the raid premises.
