After getting scared of seeing BJP’s Parivartan Yatra getting massive public support, West Bengal Police on the behest of Trinamul Congress has reportedly stalled the Rath Yatra in Barrackpore. When the BJP workers protested against the police stopping the rath, the workers were lathi-charged by the West Bengal police.

BJP’s national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya staged a dharna against the police violence on BJP karyakartas. BJP Parivarthan yatra had been attacked several times by the hooligans of TMC. The inability of West Bengal police to give adequate protection to the BJP’s yatra has become a national discussion.
