Battle-lines are Drawn: Aatmanirbhar Bharat Vs Breaking-India

In an eventful week after the Republic Day vandalism in the name of farmers protests, now the masks have fallen, the strategies of the ‘Breaking-India’ network are exposed, and conspiracy to demean and demonise Bharat is visible. At the same time, word ‘Aatmanirbharta’ has been named by Oxford Languages as its Hindi Word of the Year 2020 as it “validated the day-to-day achievements of the countless Indians who dealt with and survived the perils of a pandemic”. The same theme rightly remained a core theme of the Union Budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The global nexus working for breaking-India and growing resonance with the Aatmanirbhar Bharat are two distinct-looking but correlated processes. To make it perceptible, we need to understand the forces working in tandem against the rising Bharat and analyse their intention.
The unprecedented CoVid-19 crisis put the global economy into a fix. The market principles based on demand and supply are tested yet again. Many countries, including the originator of the virus, are still facing a series of lockdowns. The vulturism of both capitalist and apparently communist states on vaccines is obvious enough. China is grappling with the fake vaccine controversy and, the US and EU are both indulging in profiteering and hoarding their costly jabs.
Against this backdrop, Bharat shows remarkable resilience with around 98 per cent of recovery rate and inoculation of more than 45 per cent of health workers with the record of covering four million people under vaccination drive in just 18 days. The way Bharat has conducted its vaccine-Maitri campaign is just an extension of its civilisational approach towards humanity. The projections of 11 per cent growth rate and growing confidence of investors in Bharat; all are signs of positivity. All over positive responses to the Budget, especially for heavily investing in health and infrastructure, and still maintaining a reasonable fiscal deficit compared to other countries, resonate with the core theme of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Many within and outside Bharat are rattled with this process. The proponents of Cultural Marxism, who continue to play their rant against globalisation and capitalism, are now effectively using identities to create new faultlines or widen existing ones. Their masterminds outside Bharat play with the classical Maoist dictums and use all their resources to destabilise democracies. Social media platforms, with their own ideological biases, are promoting the devastating ideas through prominent handles. The imaginary construct of #ModiPlanningFarmerGenocide is just an example, the real issue is intent behind motivated and manufactured campaigns.
A series of celebrity tweets, followed by the expose through an unintentionally shared toolkit, has wholly exposed the planning and resources that have gone through in manufacturing dissent and violence. The direct link of Ask India Why website and Kisaan Ekta Collective with the Khalistani sympathisers functioning from Canada and Europe have exposed what has already been discussed. Is it a coincidence that Reliance group is targeted within a few days of its 5G announcement? When Chinese Huawei, the pioneer in 5G technology, is facing a global backlash due to data security concerns, this suspicion becomes even more apparent. As Canadian documents and research show, Khalistan is a Pakistani project and poses a threat to Bharat and Canada. The missionary propelled NGOs facing stricter actions due to their blatant abuse of FCRA norms are hand in glove in this network. If we connect the dots then ideology, technology and the dangerous geostrategic game of anti-Bharat forces fall in line. Aatmanirbhar Bharat, awakening with its civilisational roots, is their common enemy. The sad part is that the so-called farmers’ leaders and opportunistic political parties join hands for their political objectives with Breaking-India forces.
On the positive side, the Government is firm and ready to take on giants, political and technological. The informed nationalist opinion is organised and equipped enough to protect the national interest. We need to work on a dual strategy to counter them. The machinations of these forces need to be called out, and the masks of the faces they are trying to establish should be uncovered. At the same time, the inherent cultural integration of Bharat should be strengthened on all counts with a sensitive and assimilative approach, so that the dangerous designs of Breaking-India forces do not work. Aatmanirhar Bharat is not just a budgetary objective; it is a mission of Bharat for global peace and prosperity. We need to work on instrumentalities in all walks of life to realise this grand civilisational objective of Bharat.
