Mystery of Becoming

Who should we look at to find this illusion's solution and, see that we were?that only who we have 'become' now? Doesn't it sound mystic? Call it good or better or best news. Else, howsoever good it may be, no 'good news' is good enough which is incapable of seeing/realising the divine/reality within

Who should we look at to find this illusion’s solution and, see that we were–that only who we have ‘become’ now? Doesn’t it sound mystic? Call it good or better or best news. Else, howsoever good it may be, no ‘good news’ is good enough which is incapable of seeing/realising the divine/reality within

A question was asked, why would self-realised persons talk about reality to ‘other’? And, the answer is clear that after realising the reality, relatively speaking, one finds absolutely nothing better than ‘that’ in the world to share it with willing/thirsty hearts?

Keeping aside your spirituality for a moment and looking at life intellectually then isn’t it common sense to talk about the best thing that should happen to every individual across the globe without even a single exception? So that everyone becomes tuned to best in every sense of the word-best.

This is common human aspiration/craving/choice (Laalasaa), irrespective of cropped up artificial or functional social divisions which keep provoking our minds to roam in best ideas, create best things, and stays connected to best people. Ambitions apart, all human beings aspire nothing more than what is mentioned at the outset as that is fulfilling life in the human frame. Ecstasy, trance, bliss and peace are its attributes. Therefore, isn’t it sat-sang the best to choose/aspire/crave for? What (or who) can be better than the reality and the real? None.

Attributes mentioned above make sat-sang to be known as ultimate fruit. While, all other activities, initiatives and endeavours are known as means to attain to the spiritual stage of incessant sat-sang with the one whom we (as individual seekers) see as the ultimate form (fruit) or experience (seed).

In Indic (Adhyaatmic) vocabulary this union or sat-sang is indicated by four words namely, saayujyataa (establishing a relationship by reiteration, acknowledgement and assertion through practice), saameepyataa (intensifying relationship), saarupyataa (relationship evolving into attaining similar attributes), saalokyataa (attributes transforming into one’s ‘becoming’ evidence of reality and, becoming another form of the one whom one had chosen as the ultimate form in human frame or upholder of experience that one has ‘become’ evidence of.)

What is this ‘becoming’ when we already are part of the ultimate form (if we see ourselves as saguna-upaasaka) and a treasure house of the experience of the same reality (if we are nirgun upaasak). Castigating or branding everyone sinner requires no wisdom, every Tom, Dick and Harry can do it. But, helping inclined ones in removing their illusion and, becoming conduit in letting them see their divinity/reality needs not only (Vimal- Viveka) discernment but wisdom. If there is any hurdle in seeing/exploring/realising it then, it is either our not being open-hearted or being brainwashed (judgmental). How can one stop being inner light for others when one has seen the immortal light (within)? And, how can we stop being full of gratitude towards the one who has been destined to play this part in our lives? This unbroken eternal chain of trust and gratitude among living persons keeps the relationship/association of guru and disciple intact eternally across cycles of time.

Any kind of association/relationship/grouping among human beings is primarily based on the virtue of cooperation. However, endeavours may vary. For example, family, corporation, institution or nation all these come into being to serve the larger cause. It is in serving other than human life becomes meaningful. However, the degree of parmaarth (selflessness) varies across these groupings. But, guru-shishya relationship is constituted of nothing but the volume of selflessness

But, guru-shishya relationship is constituted of nothing but the volume of selflessness. That’s how the minimum level of consciousness in this relationship is known as love. Word –’ serving’ gets its eternal life, real meaning and contextual example from this relationship. Earning livelihood becomes a by-product of one’s excelling in the profession one chooses to engage oneself. And, that is the mark of a prosperous society. These attributes can’t be earned until one’s cooperation, efforts, and willingness is not contributively part of it. And, when these are earned through one’s cooperation and overall cosmic support, then Aatmaa comes to be known as Purush. Artha is first amongst the Purushaarthas (attributes). And, artha means prosperity of both kinds, namely, spiritual as well as material. Yet, wherever spiritual prosperity exists, material prosperity can’t stay away. But, it is not necessary that the ones who are materially prosperous they would also be spiritually prosperous. Real prosperity too has an order of priorities. That’s how talking about reality with one another becomes a priority. None aspires not to ‘become’ prosperous. Therefore, the mystery of our’ becoming’ that (prosperous) who we already need to be solved. Guru is the solution.
