Legal Rights Observatory (LRO) has exposed the FCRA violation Bible Baptist Fellowship in their latest tweet. LRO tweeted, “ #FCRAViolation Bible Baptist Fellowship got Rs 2.18 Cr from #FCRA, did evangelization of target group of orphans n women by misusing the foreign funds. Church Planting in-focus area is their main activity. Requested @HMOIndia for stringent action n cancellation #ConversionMafia.”
The Baptist Bible Fellowship International (BBFI) is a conservative Baptist organization formed in 1950 by members who broke away from the World Baptist Fellowship as the result of a leadership dispute with J. Frank Norris. It is headquartered in Springfield, Missouri. In North America there are 4,500 congregations totalling 1.2 million members associated with it; an additional 10,000 churches are associated worldwide
LRO in their earlier tweets had exposed various evangelical organisations operating in India. Massive FCRA violations are observed in almost all cases. With the demography changing due to rice-bag conversions, India’s culture in near future could be under threat from these evangelical forces.
