Cases filed against CPM workers for vandalising house of a CPM worker

Following their victory in Kerala local body elections, CPM’s celebration rallies have rung the death knell for the opposition party workers. Attacks on BJP workers are reported from Kasaragod in the North to Thiruvananthapuram in the South. But now, the blood-thirsty party goons have turned against their folks. One such incident is reported from Kasaragod district in Kerala where a CPM member and former Block Panchayat member P.P Ravi’s house was attacked by other CPM members of the region.
CPM members had accused P.P Ravi of rebel activities. In 2015 local body elections, CPM had won the ward with 257 votes, while in 2020 the majority got reduced to 29 votes. Chathera Police have registered 5 cases regarding this incident.
