Tamil Nadu SDPI member arrested for attempting to murder RSS worker

A cadre of the Social Democratic Party of India, the political arm of Islamist outfit PFI, has been arrested on Friday, in connection with a murder attempt on an RSS worker. The 36-year-old is the second accused in the case.
The accused M Jaffar Sadiq, is a resident of Rose Venue at South Ukkadam.
According to police, the RSS worker N Suryaprakash, aged 26, was assaulted by two unidentified people at his edible oil shop on March 11 in the evening at Sundarapuram-Madukkarai Road. He was critically injured.
During interrogation, Hanifa told police that he hatched a conspiracy with others to attack the RSS worker. Reports hinted at a few more arrests in the case
