US media has reported that an internal Chinese report has warned CCP that it might face Tiananmen-like global counterattack. The report concludes that due to coronavirus outbreak, the global anti-China sentiment is at its highest since the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown. The report comes after a few hours of Matt Pottinger’s, the Deputy National Security Advisor to President Trump statement on the 101st anniversary of the start of China’s historic May Fourth Movement.

Matt Pottinger had reiterated Hu Shih’s statement that “The only way to have democracy is to have democracy,”. Hu Shih is recognized as one of the greatest influential leaders of the May Fourth epoch. Matt said person like Dr Li Wenliang, who warned the world about coronavirus, personifies the May Fourth essence in China today. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime threatened and tortured Dr Li. From his deathbed, Dr Li said: “I think there should be more than one voice in a healthy society, and I don’t approve of using public power for excessive interference.”

Mr Matt Pottinger is considered as the architect of the Chinese Cold War. Pottinger believes that U.S.-China collaboration must take a backseat to the United States military courage as a form of deterrence, and to trade conflict as a form of economic leverage.

Consequently, CCP faces a wave of anti-China sentiment led by the United States in the repercussion of the pandemic and needs to be equipped in a worst-case situation for armed hostility between the two global powers. The China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), a think tank affiliated with the Ministry of State Security (China’s top intelligence body) has prepared this report.

The anger against China is so grave that Mr Hawley, a Republican senator from Missouri, said WTO should be abolished because of WTO required global workers to compete against Chinese forced labour but did next to nothing to stop Chinese theft of intellectual property and products. Because of coronavirus pandemic, 30 million Americans are unemployed now, worst than world war II.

President Trump has repeatedly said that he might put new tariffs on top of the up to 25% tax on $370 billion in Chinese goods currently in place. Today former top White House trade negotiator Clete Willem said that “Rising tensions between the U.S. and China — made worse by the coronavirus pandemic — is the start of a new Cold War”. The CCP can face global political vendetta, but global economic crusade can destroy them because financial losses can impinge Chinese people to revolt against CCP, reports the US media.
