Prime Minister Narendra Modi writes to Chinese President Xi Jinping, offers help to deal with novel Coronavirus outbreak in China

India has offered assistance to China to deal with the novel Coronavirus outbreak. News agencies quoted official sources and reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping, expressing solidarity with the president and the people of China over the outbreak of the virus in the country. He conveyed India’s appreciation for China’s assistance in the evacuation of Indians from Hubei province.
The Prime Minister reportedly offered India’s assistance to China to face the challenge. Shri Modi also expressed condolences to his Chinese counterpart over the unfortunate loss of lives due to the outbreak. He also conveyed to President Xi Jinping his appreciation for facilitating the evacuation of Indian citizens from the Hubei province.
