CURTAIN RAISER?HADR EXERCISE TIGER TRIUMPH TO COMMENCE AT VISAKHAPATNAM

The maiden India US joint Tri services HADR Exercise ‘TIGER TRIUMPH’ is being held on the Eastern seaboard from November 13 to 21, 2019. Indian Naval ships Jalashwa, Airavat and Sandhayak, Indian Army troops and IAF Mi-17 helicopters and Rapid Action Medical Team would be participating in the exercise. US has deployed its Naval Ship Germantown with troops from US Third Marine Division. The Exercise is aimed at developing interoperability for conducting HADR operations. The harbour phase of the exercise will include training visits, professional matter exchanges, sports events and social interactions. The Sea Phase would include Maritime, Amphibious and HADR operations.

UPGRADED 3D AIR COMBAT MOBILE GAME ‘INDIAN AIR FORCE: A CUT ABOVE’ LAUNCHED

Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal HS Arora launched the multiplayer version of upgraded 3D Air Combat Mobile Game “Indian Air Force: A Cut Above” this week. The game was initially launched by the IAF to connect with the youth of the country and inspire them to join the Indian Air Force. This latest multiplayer version will enable players to have a realistic engagement with the opponent anywhere across the globe. The mobile application has two modes named “Team Battle” and “Death Match”. The user has the option to choose from the diverse range of the aircraft in the inventory of the IAF, including Mig-21, Tejas and Mig-29 which were not available in the previous version. The game will be available on Android and IOS platforms.
