NHSRCL to impart vocational training to youths from families affected by Railway projects

26 youths from 11 villages of Kheda and Anand Districts received certificates for the Future Entrepreneur Training Programme for Project Affected Families by NHSRCL
Youths from villages who have been affected by Railway projects receiving vocational training from NHSRCL
 
National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) in association with Rural Development and Self Employment Training Institute (RUDSET) { http://www.rudsetitraining.org} has started working towards income restoration/generation activities for project affected persons/families. NHSRCL’s land acquisition process is not limited to payment of compensation, R&R assistance etc; but also includes skill development, training enhancement for income restoration and development of livelihood restoration and income generation opportunities for the project affected persons.
 
Under this programme, a Computer Hardware and Networking Programme for prospective youths was started by RUDSET institute, Nadiad on 26.06.19, 26 youths from 6 villages of Kheda District and 5 villages of Anand District are benefitted from 45-day skill development training programme.
 
NHSRCL used this opportunity to connect once again with the project affected families and briefed them about their rights and benefits from Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail. Certificate distribution ceremony was attended by Shri Sudhir B. Patel (District Collector, Kheda), Shri Achal Khare (Managing Director, NHSRCL), Shri Divya Mishra (SP, Kheda), Shri Pradeep Ahirkar (Chief Project Manager NHSRCL, Vadodara),Shri V.K. Patel (Dy. Collector), Shri Arvind Mothaliya (Director, RUDSET), More than 400 project affected persons and their family & friends. 
 
Youths from Project Affected Families received certificates for the Future Entrepreneur Training Programme from officials of NHSRCL
 
During the ceremony MD NHSRCL states that “ This relationship is not of just give and take but of growing together. NHSRCL will follow up with all training participants in future and will try to help in whatever way we can in the years to come. I also announce here that if some of you would like to join hands and make a co-operative like AMUL, NHSRCL will be happy to assist you in such initiative”
 
A number of similar training programmes including mobile repairing, beauty parlour, bike repairing etc. are planned to be carried out in various villages along the MAHSR Corridor. After the training, RUDSET ensures that trained youth develop their own enterprises. Since RUDSET is sponsored by two banks, they also help them in getting loans. Handholding done for at least two years till the candidate gets established.
