New Delhi: Rashtra Sevika Samiti, the country’s largest women organisation dedicated to the cause of motivating women to play a constructive role in nation building, is organising a 15-day training camp in Nagpur. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony on June 7, Sevika Samiti Pramukh Karyavahika Sushri Seethagayathri Annadanam said concentration is must for success in the sadhana. “If we have to achieve something in life we need constant sadhana. Since we the Sevikas have pledged to restore the pristine glory of Bharat as Vishwaguru, we have to first prepare ourselves for that role. This camp is a milestone in the organisational training,” she added.
She said as honeybees provide honey to others, we too have to work for our society with the same mindset. The inaugural function was presided over by the winner of this year’s National Youth Parliament Kumari Shweta Umare who was honoured by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for this achievement. She stressed on using the words which do not hurt others. “I have adopted this formula in my life. That is why I can do what I think,” she added. Pramukh Sanchalika of the Samiti Sushri Shantakkaji and Padmashri Jamunatudu will join the concluding ceremony of the camp on June 22.

Samiti’s organisational training camps are going on all over the country. The camp in Delhi began on June 1 at Govardhan Lal Trehan Saraswati Bal Mandir, Nehru Nagar, and will conclude on June 16. The 400 Sevikas, who are undergoing training at this camp, conducted an impressive pathsanchalan on June 13 in Lajpat Nagar. The pathsanchalan was welcomed by the local people by showering flower petals on the marching Sevikas.
