Annual Sangh Shiksha Vargs of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to impart organisational training to the cadre are going on all over the country. Some Vargs have been concluded, while some are to be concluded by the end of June. The Third Year Sangh Shiksha Varg will conclude on June 16 in Nagpur
“By awakening patriotism and potential of the nation, Bharat will once again become Jagadguru. Many great leaders and stalwarts of this country have done this most important work. The RSS also since 1925 has been doing this noble work,” said Paschim Kshetra Dharma Jagran Pramukh of RSS Shri Shyam Harkare. He was speaking at the concluding ceremony of RSS first year Sangh Shiksha Varg of Konkan Prant at Dahanu on June 1. A total of 88 swayamsevaks from 23 districts of Konkan region underwent training at the Varg. Among them, 30 were professionals and rest were students. Farmers, IT professionals and forest dwellers also joined the Varg.

Shri Harkare further said the work of organising the Hindu society is the work of awakening the latent power of the country. The Sangh has started the process of igniting patriotism with the view to building a self-sacrificing society. He also referred to various cultural, political and social onslaughts on the Hindu society. He underlined the need to establish a disciplined and organised society to counter such attacks. He stressed on the fact that due to thousands of years of foreign aggression some of our people have gone away from their original roots and, once again they need to be brought back to the original stream of the Hindu society.

Warli painter of international fame Shri Sadashiv Jeevya Mhase was the chief guest. In his speech, he said he inherited the legacy of Warli painting from his father. He participated and showcased his talent in many national and international exhibitions. Around 275 people of this less known Warli art now survive. Every Warli painting narrates a story of the Warli tribe. “The name ‘Warli’ is derived from the Warli tribe. In the marriages of Warli tribes, these paintings are made on the walls of the houses. He specially mentioned the name of Bhaskar Purkare who took this art to international fora. He thanked the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for inviting him at the programme and providing him with an opportunity to share his thoughts.

In the 20-day residential training camp, the swayamsevaks underwent training in various activities. They displayed their skills at the concluding ceremony. It included Danda, Niyudha, Vyayam Yog, Gana Samata, Ghosh, and a variety of attractive sports. Varg Karyavah Shri Yogesh Salunkhe presented the camp report. The concluding ceremony was attended by a large number of local citizens from Dahanu and Palghar districts.

First-year Sangh Shiksha Varga of Chhattisgarh Prant was held at Delhi Public School at village Sankara. The Varg concluded on June 5. Swami Atmaram Kumbhaj, the patron of Tulsi Manas Pratishthan, was the chief guest at the concluding session. Chhattisgarh Prant Pracharak Shri Prem Shankar also spoke. A total of 263 shiksharthis from various parts of the state underwent training in the camp.

The first year Varg of Gujarat Prant was held at Bright School, Narora. Vice Chairman of Nirma Limited Shri Rakeshbhai Patel was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony. RSS Prant Sanghachalak Dr Bharatbhai Patel said the Sangh is trying to unite the good forces of the society. Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani and Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri Jayantibhai Bhadesia were also present. A total of 399 swayamsevaks from all over the state underwent training at the Varg.
 
An impressive pathsanchalan of the third year Sangh Shiksha Varg held in Nagpur was conducted on June 3. The pathsanchalan began from Smriti Mandir and passing through Reshimbagh, Ganesh Nagar, Nandanvan etc concluded back at Smriti Mandir. RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi and Sarvadhikari Dr Aniruddha Deshpande inspected the pathsanchalan at Basketball Ground. A total of 828 shiksharthis are undergoing training at the 25-day camp. The Varg will conclude on June 16.
