Jammu: “The supreme sacrifice made by Chanderkant Sharma and his PSO Rajinder Kumar on April 9 in Kishtwar will continue to inspire the workers and the nationalists forces in the society. The RSS condemns this cowardly act of terrorists. The RSS is always with the nationalist citizens and the security forces. We appeal to the security forces to give a befitting reply to the separatists and all nationalist citizens are with them in all circumstances,” said RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Suresh Soni, while paying tribute to the martyred Sangh karyakarta in Jammu on April 22. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Shri Arun Kumar, Akhil Bharatiya Sah Sampark Pramukh Shri Ramesh Pappa and Prant Sanghachalak Brig (retd) Suchet Singh were also present.

“Chanderkantji was working as a Sangh worker for the last 33 years. He awakened the society and inspired people to work for the nation. It was because of his efforts that the Hindu society collectively foiled the game plans of the separatists in the remote areas of Kishtwar,” Shri Soni said.

Shri Arun Kumar, who was Prant Pracharak of Jammu for seven years, recalled the contribution of Chanderkantji to the society. “Chanderkantji was an expert organiser and a dedicated worker. He helped the security forces in Doda and Kishtwar when terrorism was at peak without thinking about his family,” he added.

Earlier, addressing a gathering at another condolence meeting held in Kishtwar on April 19, RSS Sahsarkaryavah Dr Manmohan Vaidya said the life of Chanderkantji is an inspiration for the people who are fighting against the anti-national elements. He said the sacrifice by Chanderkantji, Parihar brothers and others will not go waste as more people will stand against

terrorism not only in J&K but in other parts of the country too. State BJP president Shri Ravindra Raina, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Rameshwar Das, Acharya Vagish Shastri from Kashi, Shri Ramesh Pappa, Brig. (retd) Suchet Singh, Uttar Kshetra Pracharak Shri Banvir and Prant Pracharak Shri Rupesh Kumar also paid tribute
