Amit Shah storms Pathanamthitta with mega road show

Despite heavy downpour, Amit Shah’s road show drew a huge crowd in Pathanamthitta, the holy land of lord Ayyappa.
As a part of the election campaign for BJP candidate K Surendran, Amit Shah held a road show in the evening that witnessed an unprecedented turn out.
Expressing solidarity with the Sabarimala cause, people in large numbers thronged the streets of Pathanamthitta, which is home to the holy shrine of Sabarimala. K Surendran, BJP state general secretary became the hero of common people in the state overnight after taking the lead of the Sabarimala movement. As a part of political vendetta, the CPM government has slapped more than 243 cases against him.
Suffering under the oppressive rule of Pinarayi Vijayan for speaking against the communist government’s anti-Hindu stand, Shri Surendran had to spend 23 days in jail.
In a call for votes over the Sabarimala issue, BJP president Amit Shah has said that K Surendran is a candidate representing those who believe in faiths and traditions.
In Kerala, all 20 constituencies will go to the polls in the third phase, on April 23.
