Sri Alok Kumar, Advocate and International Working President of VHP, Sri Vinod Bansal, spokesperson of the VHP Sri Vagish Issar, Working President, Delhi have signed the press release.

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has requested the Election Commission of India to initiate action under the model code of conduct against the leaders of political parties threatening/undermining the sovereignty, integrity and social harmony of the nation for political gains.

Keeping in mind the statements made by Sri Farooq Abdullah, Sri Omar Abdullah, Ms Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on the discussion of the matter of abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A, VHP said in its press release that the leaders from J&K for the political gains are threatening the sovereignty of Bharat. Those statements have also to be seen in the light of Pakistan making statements that they are against the abolishing of Article 370.

Sri Alok Kumar, Advocate and International Working President of VHP, Sri Vinod Bansal, spokesperson of the VHP Sri Vagish Issar, Working President, Delhi have signed the press release.

The press release lays stress on the statements made by these leaders indicating repeatedly are in tune with the stand of Pakistan and alleges that these “leaders/parties exhibits that they are dancing to the tune of the Pakistan who is the dreaded enemy of Bharat and is continously waging war against our country. They are in total connivance and league with them and are acting under a well-planned conspiracy with their active support.”, says the letter. Taking note of the threat of J&K being a Muslim majority state by some of these leaders, the letter says that a deliberate attempt is being made to make it a communal issue and is a direct effort of promoting enmity between Muslim majority and against the other minorities in Kashmir.

The letter urges the EC to file necessary FIRs against Farooq Abdulla, Omar Abdulla and Mehbooba Mufti, take criminal proceedings against these leadrs, and also not grant permission to them for holding any public meetings, processions, rallies and road shows.
