The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh condoled the passing away of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Swami Hansdevacharya, who played an important role in the Ram Janmabhumi movement. In a statement, RSS Sarkaryavah Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi said that Swamiji’s departure is an irreparable loss to the entire Hindu society.
The news of the untimely and sudden demise of the most respected Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Swami Hansdevacharya today has filled me with anguish. He left this mortal body in a terrible road accident while travelling to Haridwar from Prayagraj Kumbh. His departure is an irreparable loss to the entire Hindu society.
He played a leading and important role in the ongoing movement for the construction of a temple at Sri Rama Janmabhumi. The pujya Swamiji was also the President of the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti. With his demise, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has lost a true well-wisher and friend. With his energetic oratory, he filled Hindu society with a new self-confidence. A bearer of social harmony and true national leadership, the life and work of Swamiji will always be a source of inspiration for everyone. We pray to the Lord that he may grant a place at his blessed feet to Pujya Swamiji and grant the ability to bear this extreme pain, to all of us, including his worldwide followers.
