Chennenahalli: Senior Karyakarta of the RSS and former Pracharak NC Sheshadri, popularly known as Sheshu, passed away on February 1. He was 76. He was admitted to a hospital over health issues a few days ago. His mortal remains were taken to Janaseva Vidya Kendra in Chennenahalli for final darshan. Sheshadriji was a Pracharak in Mysuru and Tumakuru Vibhags. The Sangh work grew under his guidance in these Vibhags in the 80s and 90s. Later, he was deputed as Sanghatan Karyadarshi for BJP for a considerable period. He also served immensely for the growth and expansion of Shikshana Vikas Parishat, which is today known as ‘Vidya Bharati’. Those close to Sheshadri ji know him as a man of letters and as extremely well read. He held the responsibility as the Manager in Chief of ‘Vikrama’ Kannada Weekly for a brief period.
