Three-day Ayodhya Parva in Delhi educates people about the unknown facts of the holy city
New Delhi: “Construction of Shri Ram Temple is indeed the construction of Bharat and the construction of Bharat is the construction of the entire world. Hence, the reconstruction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya should begin without delay. We respect the judicial process, but Shri Ram is above the judiciary,” said chairman of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas Mahant Nritya Gopaldas, while inaugurating a three-day Ayodhya Parva at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) on January 4. Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avadheshanand Giri, Union Minister Shri Narendra Tomar, president of Pragya Sansthan Shri Jawaharlal Kaul and vice president of VHP Shri Champat Rai were also present.

The Ayodhya Parva was an attempt to showcase the unknown facts about Ayodhya to the people in the national capital. An exhibition on famous 84 Kosi Parikrama of Ayodhya was highly educating and enlightening in this respect.

Chairman of IGNCA, Shri Ram Bahadur Rai said the Ayodhya Parva was organised to apprise the people of the significance of Ayodhya. He said the city, which cannot be fought, is Ayodhya. But it is unfortunate that our judiciary, administration and the governments are trying to fight against the city which is invincible by warriors. Therefore, it is necessary to know the Ayodhya, which cannot be defeated. Another thing is that when we talk about Ayodhya, we generally talk about several localities of Faizabad and Ayodhya. But, fact is that there are 151 places around Ayodhya, which are ancient and equally significant. I hope the Ayodhya Parva would be able to educate the people about various aspects of Ayodhya,” Shri Rai added.

Secretary of Ayodhya Parva, Shri Rakesh Singh said the prime objective of the Parva is to educate the masses about the culture of Ayodhya. He pointed out that such events would be organised in other parts of the country also. Convener of the Parva Shri Lallu Singh, who is MP from Ayodhya, said the background of the holy city is very huge and it is difficult to understand Ayodhya without knowing that background.

Second day two of the Parva witnessed recitation of ‘Shri Ramcharitamanas’ and discussion on various aspects of Shri Ram and Ramrajya. The discussion on Ramrajya was presided over by senior journalist Shri Banwari. Joining the discussion Shri Ram Bahadur Rai said the Ramrajya, dreamed by Gandhiji, has not been materialised so far.

The third day of the Parva was joined by Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, Union Ministers Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and Shri Manoj Sinha. Shri Manoj Sinha said the Parva would sensitise people about their heritage and culture. He said the huge gathering show that people want to know more about Ayodhya and it would also lead to further research on it.

Member Secretary of IGNCA Dr Sachidanand Joshi said the IGNCA is working on preparing a document on all 151 places of 84 Kosi Parikrama further information will be gathered about some more places.
