Nima, secretary of the local CITU unit and leader of the CPM-controlled Tailors Union in Nedumangadu, Thiruvananthapuram district is hospitalised with injuries, thanks to the brutal attack of her party colleagues. What was her fault? She wrote, on her Facebook page, against CPM’s anti-Sabarimala policy. Her 10-year-old son was also attacked.
While speaking to the media from her hospital bed, Nima told that she stands for the protection of the Sabarimala traditions. It is her faith, and she is not ready for any compromise in this matter. Her son told the media how the CPM goons attacked his mom. He could even disclose the names of most of the attackers.
