The Hindu devotees were attacked this morning in Malappuram while participating in namajapa programme in protest against the police atrocities in Sabarimala.
They were protesting the unreasonaable arrest of Hindu Aika Vedi president K.P. Sasikala Teacher while she was on her way to Shabrimala and BJP SC/ST Morcha state president Adv. P. Sudheer, Hindu Aikya Vedi general secretary Brahmachari Bhargavaram and Shabarimala Tradition Protection Council president Prithvilal.
Reports suggest that the attackers belong to a religious extremist group. Two devotees are injured. The devotees were agaain attacked while protesting the attack.
