Union Minister, Staunch Leader and dedicated Karyakarta Shri Ananth Kumar (59) passed away in the wee hours of Monday. He is survived by his wife Tejaswini Ananth Kumar and 2 daughters.
Shri Ananth Kumar was a 6 time MP and had held various portfolios in the Vajpayee Government and Narendra Modi government too. His performance of Union Minister of Fertilizers had received appreciation from many including the PM. He was known to be a cheerful and inspiring personality among his admirers.
Shri. AnanthKumar’s social initiative AdamyaChetana’s Mid day meals program, GreenSunday/GreenBengaluru initiatives have received accolades from all quarters. His active participation in Samsad Adarsh Gram Yojana to develop a village was seen as a model implementation of the flagship programme.
Given his long political career spanning more than 3 decades, his demise has left a huge gap in the BJP and the politics of the country.
